This impressive inscription has been incised in a vertical row on a figurine of the middle Neolithic. It has been found at Dunavec II (Korçe District, Southern-eastern Albania).
The dwellings discovered in Dunavec were set up on palafittes that required a high technique of building: the houses were constructed upon a wood floor, rested on stakes driven vertically into the ground..
Some painted wares found in Dunavec and imported from Dimini culture (Thessaly, Greece) appear to be of a special value and between the first proofs of a long range exchange between the most advanced civilisations of the southern and eastern Europe during the middle Neolithic Age.
